Many people have been conditioned by the market to never use a rebuilt Hydroboost unit and it was better to find a good used unit from a junk yard or wreck. The reason for this is there has been so many sub standard rebuilders selling defective products. We have gone to great lengths to protect our customers from defective products.

Ask yourself these questions before using a junkyard or recovered booster.

What level is the booster set at, is it low or high?

Each Hydrobooster is built to OEM specifications. The booster is bolted into a test fixture with a master cylinder attached. It is then charged with hydraulic oil at working pressure.
The piston is cycled several times to check for leaks and boost level and master cylinder input and output pressure. Taking all measures to give you a quality product that you can trust and depend on.

When installing a new booster it is suggested that you purge your system to remove any contaminants, dirt or metal shavings. We recommend installing an inline filter in the high pressure inlet side of the booster to protect it.

Dirt and metal shavings are the number one reason that cause a booster to fail and may void your warranty. We stand behind all our products, but these things are out of our control. Warranty issues on Hydroboosters are determined by the rebuilder.
